The 5-minute Malygos achievement was completed in EoE10 Sunday night, a horde first on Illidan. Should have several Plagued Proto-Drake mounts coming on Tuesday, and hopefully the 25-man version will be taken care of soon as well. Update: Illidan horde's first four 310% speed proto-drakes, obtained Tuesday night:

Our biggest remaining challenge in WotLK was taken care of tonight, with a group of ours finishing what's certainly the most difficult fight in the game currently, 10-man Sartharion with three drakes up. Our kill is tied for #22 in the US. |

And thus, WotLK is complete. I'd like to thank everyone involved in the kill, especially for staying after our normal raid times to get shots on the boss when the servers weren't lagging to hell. Congratulations to Delurs on your new mount. Rock on, devil tree. Rock on. |

Although it's hardly saying much, this was definitely our biggest challenge to date in WotLK, and also a server third on Illidan. The 3-drake version looks far crazier, hopefully that'll follow before too long. The higher level "hard mode" loot was [Obsidian Greathelm], which went to Nomepunter. Nice work everyone. |

What came first, the dragon or the lag? The lag, of course. The constant 10-second spikes of no activity at all during every P2 was more than a little obnoxious. Then the little dragons came out, then the big dragon fell over.
