We split our time today between AQ20 and AQ40 and managed several new boss kills. In AQ40, we got our first kill of Battleguard Sartura. The loot was a [Ring of the Qiraji Fury] (Huntessa), and [Robes of the Battleguard] (Jigfrog). In AQ20, we cleared out all of the remaining bosses, including the final boss Ossirian the Unscarred. Next up, Fankriss the Unyielding in AQ40.

On Monday, the gates of Ahn'Qiraj were finally opened on Illidan, and Angry was busy most of the night working on the new Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ40) and Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ20) zones. In AQ40, we took down The Prophet Skeram and the Vem/Princess Yauj/Lord Kri trio on the first night. Afterwards, in a quick AQ20 run we took down the first two bosses, Kurinnaxx and General Rajaxx. Nothing too special on the first night, loot-wise, in fact probably our best items so far were all blues (new skill books in AQ20 and the Enchant Gloves - Fire Power formula off of Skeram, which went to Dogfood).

We've also drawn the winners for our prizes in our AQ contest. Our three winners are Larsf (winner of the Bars category), Molkor (winner of the Herbs category), and Sajuukcor (winner of the Skins category). Complete information about the drawing and contest winnings are in our public forums.

It's been quite a while (almost 5 months, to be exact) since we obtained our first and (up until now) only legendary item, Splug's server-first Thunderfury, but we finally got an [Eye of Sulfuras] this week and crafted our first [Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros].  Grats Eenak.

In order to help get the gates of AQ open as soon as possible on Illidan, Angry, Blood Legion, Team Ice, Saga, and Backrage are taking collections from players of all materials that are still needed for the war effort and offering various prizes in return, including Molten Core, Onyxia, and Blackwing Lair loot! After weeks of the most work we've ever had to put into a boss fight by far, Nefarian is finally dead:

The loot was a [Stormrage Chestguard] (Delurs), a [Breastplate of Ten Storms] (Hugmonster), [Prestor's Talisman of Connivery] (Zodia), a [Staff of the Shadow Flame] (Sythran), and of course the [Head of Nefarian] (Splug). Grats to all in the guild on our biggest achievement yet.

Chromaggus was conquered tonight by Angry:

Flamegor put up a much better fight than Ebonroc, but was taken down tonight just the same:

Ebonroc didn't put up too much of a fight and was taken down tonight:

[Malfurion's Blessed Bulwark] went to Fnordel, and a [Ring of Blackrock] to Snibro. Grats to the guild on another Horde-side server first.

Tonight Angry summoned Prince Thunderaan for the first time ever on Illidan in order to complete the quest for Splug's [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]. Backrage joined us to take him down, and many other Horde guilds who heard what was happening came by Silithus as well. We're unsure of the number of people that were actually there, but it must have been well over 100, possibly closer to 200. A few screenshots of the action:

Angry managed to figure out Firemaw tonight. After an even hungrier than usual Tuhandyn completely finished off Firemaw's buffet, we managed to turn the Shadow Flame to our side:

With those two issues out of the way, we did a careful pull of the dragon over to one of the new RP-PVP servers where we challenged him to a duel of epic proportions. The mighty beast agreed to our contest and we engaged in extensive fisticuffs, resulting in the besting of this foul denizen:

As is the custom on RP servers, the disgraced dragon kindly dropped loot at our feet. Grats to Loffina on a [Taut Dragonhide Belt], Phoebus on [Primalist's Linked Legguards], and the entire guild on an Illidan Horde first.
